You wonder if the remake coming of Aladdin will be faithful to the cartoon on which it is based ? Disney responds with the first poster of the film.

The meaning of this first post is very simple : it is there to indicate to all the nostalgic and those who keep a dear memory of the previous version as the one coming in will take over the main lines. In fact, this inaugural image, published by Will Smith turns out to be neither more nor less than a resumption of the poster of Aladdin from 1993.

The superb original poster

It was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, when Disney completes the manufacture is directed by Guy Ritchie. Mena Massoud will be the new Aladdin, Will Smith the genius, Naomi Scott will perform Jasmine, while Marwan Kenzari will be Jafar. Is a casting composed largely of faces still relatively little known to the public, which is rather refreshing !

Remains to know if Guy Ritchie was able to or wanted to impose his paw in this blockbuster, no doubt very well maintained by the studio. In fact, Disney has managed so far to make all of its remakes of classic animation machines to cash-delusional (with the exception of Peter and Elliot the Dragon). In fact, the filmmaker behind Snatch – Tu shorthaired or tu raques or King Arthur : The Legend of Excalibur is known for his recognizable style between 1000, and obviously we’re curious to see what it will remain.

Aladdin is expected on screens in u.s. on may 22, 2019.
