Former member of the Supervisory Board of JSB “Ukrgasbank”, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSB “Ukrgasbank” and the head of the relevant business is reported about suspicion in Commission of crime provided by h. 3, 5 article 27, part 5 of article 191 UK of Ukraine, reports “Bagnet” with reference to the press service of the GPU.
“Investigators of the Main investigation Department of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine upon agreement with the Prosecutor 11.02.2019 is reported about suspicion to the former member of the Supervisory Board of JSB “Ukrgasbank”, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSB “Ukrgasbank”, head of the corresponding enterprise in the Commission of a crime under part 3, 5 of article 27 and part 5 of article 191 UK of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.
The GPU also reported that during a pretrial investigation it is established that during 2008 – 2009 years, Former member of the Supervisory Board of JSB “Ukrgasbank”, acting in collusion with the current at the time Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSB “Ukrgasbank”, organized scheme for the withdrawal of public funds on account in advance created under the control of the enterprise, through the conclusion between the Bank and the company lease agreement non-residential premises and signing of act of reception-transmission to the specified lease contract of uninhabited premises, a total area of almost 5035 sq, which the Bank is not actually used and the need for which documentary is not confirmed.
“As a result of transferring funds to the settlement account of the enterprise for the services on rent of uninhabited premises and for reimbursement of construction works non-residential premises, JSB “Ukrgasbank” material damage for total amount of 39 million UAH”, — stated in the message.
The press service added that at present, the complex of investigative and search actions to establish all the circumstances of the criminal offense, and also addressed the issue of electing a suspect measure of restraint in form of detention.
