Austrian chimney sweep Joseph Hughes showed his collection car Volkswagen Golf, which has 114 cars, including very rare copies. He plans to place it in the Museum – opening is scheduled for spring of next year in the suburbs of Vienna, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Bagnet.
“When I first got into Golf, I felt like the car was created specifically for me. Everything was exactly as I like: fit, driver, driving pleasure, ease of everyday use,” said Hughes.
First, on the work of Joseph Hughes went to the Caddy van, with the family – the usual “Golf” in the summer – a convertible in the winter – on the modification of the Country, and sometimes went on the road and on the “loaded” GTI.
According to him, he had a separate “Golf” on all occasions. Then at one of the exhibitions of old-timers, he saw one of the first production copies of the model, and wanted to do the same. This started his collection.
A collection Yuzov can find a regular serial VW Golf, and rare instances. For example, he has a “Knee”, in a converted garbage truck, camper, airplane ramp and car from the pre-production batch with sliding doors, 210-horsepower four-wheel drive car, released edition 71 instance, and even the first electric car was built in 1981.
The collection also contains a luxury, racing, rally and modified cars. One of the features of the collection is Golf with a mileage of a million kilometers, which, according to the owner, is still in excellent condition.
