A new study by the University of Guelph showed that Americans favorite guacamole can be the key to treating obesity and stop diabetes from developing.
Professor Paul Spagnuolo (Paul Spagnuolo) and his team came to the conclusion that the compound found only in avocados may inhibit cellular processes that normally lead to diabetes. When tested on people scientists also found that the substance is absorbed into the bloodstream without any adverse effects on the kidneys, liver or muscles.
Avocation B (AvoB) – lactic molecule contained only in avocado, prevents incomplete oxidation in skeletal muscle and the pancreas, reducing insulin resistance. The result is not only the removal of metabolic syndrome leading to diabetes, but losing extra pounds.
The results were published in the journal Molecular Nutrition and Food Research.
