BRP changes its distribution model in Russia

BRP’s product distribution model in Russia will change over the course of next summer.

The Valcourt company will direct the distribution of five product lines in the country of Vladimir Putin. BRP’s current distributor, Formula 7, will remain a trading partner in this country and will continue to offer BRP’s products in Russia as a BRP dealer, the company announces.

“The transition to the direct distribution model will strengthen our presence in Russia and allow us to be in a better position to seize the next business opportunities in the Russian market,” says Steve Pelletier, Vice President and General Manager of the region. Europe, Middle East and Africa at BRP.

“After 25 years of presence in Russia and interaction with this important market, we have gained an intimate knowledge of the local industry and are well positioned to offer a fantastic experience to our Russian consumers. ”

Russian consumers will continue to have access to products such as Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft, Can-Am off-road vehicles, Can-Am Spyder three-wheelers and Evinrude outboard engines , we add.

In addition to the United States and Canada, BRP has already adopted the direct distribution model in 21 major markets, including Japan, Germany, France, Finland and Norway. In these countries, BRP sells its products directly to around 3,200 dealers. In other countries, BRP works with approximately 180 distributors, supplying more than 1,000 dealers.
