The new film from the director of The Planet of the apes : The Origins actually give a reply to John Goodman and Vera Farmiga.
After The Planet of the apes : Origins released in 2011, The Gambler, released in 2014, and a brief passage from the side of the small screen with the series horror The Exorcist in 2016, Rupert Wyatt, now a screenwriter and then film director and producer is back on the big screen with a new project enticing : Captive State. Where when ten years later, the Earth is in the grip of a dictatorship alien.

Until here all goes well, could one believe. The crime is abolished. Poverty no longer exists. The growth is great and full employment on the horizon. However, this robotic voice, without heart and soul that speaks to us in this first trailer indicates, and seems to us to be false. He is brewing something, but what ? It all seems too beautiful, everyone is happy – even too much. There is necessarily a problem, but where is the cache ? Precisely, this is only at the last second that the trailer gives us a brief overview of the scope of his feature-length film.
In fact, the plot of Captive State, written by Rupert Wyatt and Erica Beeney, takes place ten years after the takeover of an alien species which has realized its domination over our blue Planet. While these aliens are seen as saviors on one side, on the other, they are a threat to eradicate. The film Rupert Wyatt will focus therefore on the lives of collaborators and dissidents.
Side casting will John Goodman, Jonathan Majors, or Vera Farmiga. For the time being, no additional information has been unveiled about their roles, but it is hoped that it will not be long. To know where lies the truth, it will have to wait until April 10, 2019, the date of French release of Captive State.
