Fans of Sylvester Stallone and Rocky are likely to be a little emotional, Sylvester Stallone announced that he is hanging up the gloves once and for all.

At the dawn of the 2000’s, everyone imagined the great fresco pugilistique dead and buried in the wandering style of the nineties triumphantly (or not). It was without counting on the selflessness of Sylvester Stallone, with Rocky Balboa and John Rambo, had to redefine the figures who have shaped his will and revive his career.

And again, everything seemed to be said about the iconic boxer. Until Warner launches in Creedwith Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan. With his airs of a spin-off very opportunistic, no one believed it, except that the director of Fruitvale Station has managed to stage an excellent movie and give Sly a role upsetting.

Sly does it really the torch ?

Role that he continues in Creed II, you expect firm footing. And for once, despite 72 spring, in spite of a saga called away from him, we cherished the hope of being reunited forever this now old coach, his style, and his gravelly voice.

Unfortunately, the actor, screenwriter and director has just released a video that it would have turned in the presence and destination of the team for the filming of Creed II, in which he shows no doubt as to his future in the franchise. In words, as in the accompanying commentary, he makes no secret of his desire to finish with the heroes.

“I just want to thank everyone around the world to have hosted the clan Rocky in his heart, for more than 40 years. This was my ultimate privilege to be able to create and interpret this character full of meaning.

Unfortunately, everything must move forward… and complete. Do not let go of anything, I love you, you are the generous and the good, and Rocky loves you too. “

And if you think you see there an announcement effect, the artist shall provide a fatal layer.

“And I could not be more happy, then I retire, because my story could be told, and that a new world opens up to it with this new audience, this new generation. “

Creed II is already visible in the United States. It will be released on the screens in france on the 9 January 2019.
