There are only a few weeks before the annual marathon in new York. On the first Sunday of November, thousands of runners will once again fill the city streets, to overcome the path passing through the five boroughs of the city.
If you want to participate, then unfortunately, late. Enrollment over last year. However, you can certainly be a spectator and support the runners.
The marathon will start at 8:30 on 4 November. Groups of participants will start the competition at different times. First start athletes in wheelchairs, and the last wave will be at 11:00.
Staten island- at the beginning of the marathon. Participants then cross the bridge Verrazzano-Narrows and get into Brooklyn. Forth on Fourth Avenue and along the waterfront of Brooklyn will get on the Pulaski Bridge, then proceed to long island city. After a short section in Queens they cross the Queensboro bridge and be in Manhattan. Moving North through the Upper East Side and Harlem, cross the Willis Avenue Bridge and overcome the Bronx. Then everything will return to Manhattan through the Madison Avenue bridge. The last part of the route passes through the 5th Ave. and Central Park, where it ends in the South-Western part.
