filling Museum new York

A unique place with a fascinating history scattered throughout the state of new York. Intriguing sights are always ready to meet with you. In the district Oneida has a well-preserved place that will fill you with nostalgia.

Right on the corner of North George and West Liberty Street in the town of Rum is a service station Sears Service Station, the appearance of which brings us back to the distant 1930.

This place looks so unusual that it seems a film about the events of a century ago. Now well-preserved gas station operates as a Museum with free entrance. Keeping this wonderful piece of history in the state of new York, we enable future generations to see the last of such stations.

The station is equipped with four antique gas pumps, each of which is painted in red, white and blue colors and is equipped with a round electric lamp.

Founded by Howard P. Sears Sr., a network of service stations previously supplied fuel to the whole Central part of the state of new York. Today, however, only here you can see how it looked almost a hundred years ago.
