Hockey club Humboldt Broncos announced that the team is ready to go on the ice in season 2018-2019 Junior hockey League Saskatchewan.

The club stated in a press release published on Friday, may 11 that he will hire a new head coach and Manager, which will take place Darcy Hogan.

Hogan was one of 16 people killed April 6 in a collision of the team bus and trucks in Saskatchewan. Thirteen players were injured.

“Darcy Hogan was selfless, inspiring, and motivating, taught his players to be great ambassadors and role models on the ice and in society, − said team President Kevin Herring. − He brought our team to new heights. It will be incredibly difficult to find a person who can reach his level”.

When the team will find a new coach, 80 potential players will be invited from may 25 to may 27 in camp in Saskatoon. It is unknown, will return if any of the injured players in the team in the upcoming season.
