A very unexpected surprise spring residents of the suburbs of Wellington (Colorado). There is may 14, 2018 precipitation in the form of hail. A seemingly ordinary weather phenomenon, if not one but: “ice rain” went over a very small area and literally turned it into a frozen island.

Realizing that this case is extraordinary, the pilot of a small plane Jane carpenter decided to explore the nearby lands from the height and found a stunning view. As it turned out, rain fell on such a small territory, which from the sky looks like someone accidentally spilled a bit of snow. Small island with white color surrounded by green fields and farmland. It really looks unusual and a little strange.

After that, the local weatherman Cory Reppenhagen removed the snow-covered land using a drone. Video also aroused admiration among the users of social networks, where the man later put it.

Residents claim that ever did not see this and I can’t recall similar weather conditions. Carpenter, a day after the first shooting, did another flyby. According to her, despite the 28-degree weather, the snow has not melted completely, and some part of it were still lying on the ground.
