Today, November 4, on the streets of Tehran came thousands of Iranian students chanting “Death to America!”, according to Reuters.

March “ordinary citizens”, established by the government of Iran in memory of the hostage-taking at the U.S. Embassy during the Islamic revolution of 1979, annually broadcast live the main channels of the country. But this year, the rage of demonstrators was particularly strong due to the resumption by the States of the sanctions, which from Monday will start to act against oil, energy and banking sectors of Iran and will be the most stringent in the history of the country.

Friday, November 2, Donald trump posted on Twitter your photo in the style of the main poster of “Game of thrones” with an inscription referring to the famous phrase from the movie: “Winter is coming”.

“Sanctions close. On 5 November.”

Mohammad Ali Jafari, the commander of the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps (the elite military formation), said that “the United States launched the economic and psychological war as a last resort”, but Iran will win in this confrontation.

In his Saturday speech Grand Ayatollah of Iran Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei said that politics trump meets resistance around the world. “The goal of America was to restore the dominance, which she had until 1979, but it failed. The last 40 years, the Islamic Republic won a victory over America”, — said the Iranian leader.

At today’s rally in that part of town, where once housed the U.S. diplomatic mission, the demonstrators, according to tradition, chanting: “Death to America!”, burned the stars and stripes, the image of Uncle Sam (a representation of the USA) and pictures of Donald trump.

Recall that on 4 November 1979, shortly after he was overthrown Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the Iranian Islamist students stormed the U.S. Embassy, declaring him a nest of conspiracies and espionage against Iran. Then, 52 Americans were held hostage for 444 days, the United States broke with Iran relations, and the country for decades have become bitter enemies.
