In new York city held its annual AIDS Walk

On 20 may, the memory Day of people died of HIV/AIDSin Central Park hosted the annual charity March AIDS Walk New York.
The main aim of the campaign is to raise funds to Finance important research and support of different organizations providing specialized services to residents of the Tri-State area (NY, NJ and CT) with HIV/AIDS.
The day of remembrance of people who died of AIDS, is celebrated annually on the 3rd Sunday of may all over the world. The sign of mourning is pinned to the clothes of red tape, simultaneously symbolizing mankind’s hope for a quick victory over the “plague of the XX century”. First AIDS March held in 1986, since then has collected about $150 million.
Charity March began at the entrance to Central Park from 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue. To the participants it was easier to navigate the terrain, the organizers have posted a handy map of the event.
The opening ceremony was attended by actors Zachary Quinto (“American horror story”) and hunter emery (“Orange — hit of the season). After the end of the March, began the festive part: the Pointer Sister‘s sang their hits live, were the stars of the reality show RuPaul”s Drag Race.
