The work of Salvador Dali (Salvador Dalí) called “Surrealistic bullfight: burning giraffe” were stolen in the fine arts gallery Dennis Rae in San Francisco.
The man in half a minute made a masterpiece of Salvador Dali’s worth 20 thousand dollars from a gallery near Union square in San Francisco. Surveillance cameras nearby hotel Handlery showed how the thief went with the picture in hand down the street.
“Honestly, it’s amazing, said David Shah (David Schach), co-owner of the gallery. – I sell art for 30 years, and I’m always surprised people are stealing, often even not realizing their real value”. Shah says that the gallery Director was talking to another client when the incident occurred.
Surreal lithograph 60 years is part of a series of seven pieces inspired by the paintings of bullfight Pablo Picasso. The picture was one of about three dozen Dali works exhibited in the gallery.
