Last week, a new smartphone company Xiaomi has been certified by TENAA in China. Today, the Network was seen some “live” photos of the smartphone, which has been downloaded a blog from the Czech Republic, but the author did not mention the actual source device. Device, in particular, has a design that is very similar to the recently introduced Mi 6X, but obviously more simplified specifications, writes the Chronicle.info with reference to iLenta.com
The phone will get slim body, a U-shaped structure of the rear antennas and dual vertical installation rear camera that consists of a main 12-Megapixel sensor and 5-MP secondary. Information about selfie camera is not, but previous leaks talked about a 16 MP sensor. One of the notable inconsistencies in the new information is battery capacity. Czech website claims that the Redmi S2 will be equipped with a battery capacity of mAh 4205 without fast charging. Quite a significant improvement compared to the previously proposed 3000 mAh.
Confirming previous leaks, the Redmi S2 will be equipped to 5.99-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution (1440 x 720 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will work with proven, efficient and effective 625 Snapdragon chipset with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz in combination with 3/4 GB of RAM and 16/32/64 GB of expandable storage.
Other information about Redmi S2 include Android 8.1 Oreo, a fingerprint scanner at the rear, a 3.5 mm audio Jack and, unfortunately, the microUSB.
