The series Supernatural is nearing its end. The actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who embody the brothers Winchester since the beginning (2005), on Friday announced 22 that the of season 15, which should be published at the end of 2019 beginning of 2020, will be the last.

Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) and Misha Collins (Castiel) have announced Friday night that the series Supernatural will take its final bow at the end of the 15th and final season (season 14 is airing on an american channel the CW).

It is with much emotion that the two actors who embody the brothers Winchester since all these years, and Misha Collins, whose character has joined the story in season 4, have formalized the information by publishing a video on social networks.

“Hey friends. Here Jared, Jensen and Misha. We have some great news we wanted to announce ourselves. We just announce it to the team, even if we are very excited to soon be embarking on a fifth season, this will be our last”, said Jensen Ackles.

“We have cried tears, and we incapabilities yet. But we are really thankful”, for its part, entrusted to Jared Padalecki, who promises one last great season and full of surprises.

But the fans of Supernatural have a hope: that the brothers Winchester do not disappear really. In other words, a new character is to be integrated in this season’s 15 and that this can give rise to a spin-off, in which Dean and Sam could live again.

“Nothing ends really ever in Supernatural, isn’t it?” wrote Jensen Ackles on Instagram.
