By Paul Manafort, a former head of election campaign of Donald trump, announced today, 14 September, on the eve of the second trial that he intends to plead guilty.
This happened after prosecutors presented a new indictment documents, including about the involvement of Manafort to plot against the United States and conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice.
It is expected that the accused will appear in court this afternoon.
Previously, Paul Manafort denying the allegations and condemning his closest business partner, Rick gates, who at the beginning of the year, agreed to cooperate with the investigation. Manafort hoping that his colleague “have the strength to continue the fight” to prove their innocence.
