At the next meeting of the Trilateral contact group on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbas on December 19, the Ukrainian side will again offer the options of releasing prisoners and prisoners until December 27, according to the formula 23 by 23 and 66 at 19. This was stated by the representative of Ukraine in the TAG in the Minsk talks Yevhen Marchuk, reports “UKRINFORM”.
“Ready today option exchange on December 27 according to the formula 23 by 23 and 66 at 19. We formally proposed at the meeting on 4 December. Russia does not agree. We will again be paid (proposal amended) 19 December, when the 101st round of talks in Minsk last year,” said Marchuk.
He added that it is also officially requested a separate meeting to discuss and analyze the Minsk documents.
We will remind that following the meeting of OSCE foreign Ministers in Milan, the Russian foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Russia stands for the exchange of prisoners between the Ukrainian side and groups “DNR”/”LC” according to the formula “all for all”.
As previously reported “facts”, the head of the Ukrainian side in the Tripartite contact group on settling the situation in Donbas Yevhen Marchuk said that negotiations between Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE held in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, recently went into a kind of impasse. From the Kremlin are direct instructions — will not solve anything with the current Ukrainian leadership. At the same time Russia is pushing Ukraine to conduct direct contacts with the so-called “leaders” of “LDNR”.
