Mercedes-Benz will invest more than €10 billion in launching its own electric line. By 2020, the company intends to increase the number of its fully electric models to ten.
Interestingly, even in 2010, the head of Mercedes-Benz Dieter Zetsche (Dieter Zetsche) criticized the “hype” around electric vehicles, they say, even after ten years the percentage of electric vehicles on the market will be negligible. Now, however, introducing an electric crossover in Stockholm, he told reporters that the alternatives to electric cars there – and the company will take care of them “in full.”
