People can land on Mars by 2035, said the head of the National aerospace Agency of the USA Jim Brandenstein (Jim Bridenstine).
The chief of NASA said earlier that the first astronauts on the Red planet can reach the goal in 2030, the year, now, according to him, the Agency shifts the date X 5 years later.
“If we speed up the landing on the moon, we are accelerating and flying to Mars. I believe we can do that by 2035,” said Bridenstine during a panel discussion at the International Congress of astronauts, according to Space.com.
“We need to learn to live and work in another world. The moon is the best place to check these facilities and technologies. The sooner we can achieve this goal, the sooner we can move on to a mission to Mars,” – said the head of the Agency.
