At the crossroads between John Wick and Taken, Jennifer Garner, illustrated by mother for vengeance in the trailer for the Peppermint.
Jennifer Garner has not lost any of his aggressiveness and his passion acquired in Alias. The former spy of the SD-6 is ready to take up arms again, in a dramatic thriller made-to-measure for her. And it’s good to see her in a role as energetic as this one.
Jennifer Garner in Alias
Directed by Pierre Morel, who rose to fame thanks to Taken with Liam Neeson, and written by Chad St. John, Peppermint tells the story of a mother of a family whose life changes radically after the murder of his daughter and her husband. They are attacked when they return calmly to a beautiful evening of spring family happy and united.
They are then violently shot by a gang in a car at the exit of the park. Only survivor of this dramatic event, Jennifer Garner will decide to bypass the police mafia and the corrupt justice system who ask him to be quiet. Of course, she does not hear the same ear.
Eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, Jennifer Garner, alias Riley, will then moved abroad a few months out of the city and the justice mafia in order to train like a badass. And it is only when she feels finally ready to break the ass of the wicked, that it will then take the weapons to do the spring cleaning within the gang.
To accompany him in his quest for vengeance, John Ortiz (Happiness Therapy), John Gallagher Jr (The Cloverfield Paradox), Richard Cabral (Cartel) or even Tyson Ritter (Preacher) will be of the party.
The Peppermint out in French cinemas on 12 September.
