NASA published a picture where you can see the movement of the International space station in the Sun. As reported on the Agency’s website, the picture was taken 7 Oct. The station was moving at a speed of about eight kilometers per second, reports the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to zn.ua.
It is noted that when the image was taken aboard the station was European space Agency astronaut, crew commander Alexander Gerst, NASA astronaut Serena Augen-Chancellor and cosmonaut of the Roscosmos Sergey Prokopiev. They had to join the NASA astronaut Nick Hague and cosmonaut of the Roscosmos Alexei Ovchinin, which was to be launched on 11 October from the Baikonur cosmodrome.
