Railway bridge reachable end of April

Trains should be able to start over the Saint-François River at Brompton by the end of April.

Let’s call it the railway bridge in the river collapsed in the river in January, after being washed away by an ice jam, when the river level had increased by 6 feet in 45 minutes.

Since then, the Atlantic & St-Laurent railway company had been able to restart its activities by following the tracks of other carriers in the region. Approximately one train a day normally takes the Brompton Rail Bridge to Richmond Intermodal Station.
