The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic tomáš Petricek expressed the need to open an Advisory office of the EU mission in Mariupol.
About this he wrote on Twitter, being in Brussels at the meeting of the EU Council on foreign Affairs.
The Minister said that during the meeting he, along with his Danish counterpart Anders Samuelson gave a report on the visit to the Donbass.
“We were shocked by the grave humanitarian situation caused by the war. The EU should be more active and visible in the region. We support the opening of a regional office of the Advisory mission of the EU in Mariupol,” wrote the Czech Minister.
Recall that the Consultative EU mission operating in Ukraine since December 2014. CMEs offices are opened in Kiev, Lviv, Kharkiv.
The mission provides advice, equipment, conducts training to support reform of law enforcement and judicial authorities of Ukraine such as the Ministry of internal Affairs, national police, Prosecutor General, security Service of Ukraine, the National anti-corruption Bureau.
