The events took place Friday, march 1, near Nîmes, in the Gard.
Six children, aged 6 to 8 years of age, are fun to throw pebbles on the A9 highway from the top of a bridge.
The constables, prevented by motorists, arrested the six children, all belonging to a family living nearby.
Left unattended, these were just a few meters from the fence of the closing of the highway and tried to set fire to dry herbs.
The children and their parents were heard in the premises of the gendarmerie for “endangering the lives of others”. A social investigation should be opened.
