Solo : A Star Wars Story stands out as the first real counter-performance at the box office of Star Wars products by Disney. And Ron Howard didn’t live it very well.

While the Hollywood Reporter recently said that some experts believed the possible loss of the blockbuster in the vicinity of $ 50 million, we could ask ourselves what was the state of mind of the director. Called to the rescue after the dismissal of Chris Miller and Phil Lord (directors initial), despite a start more than shy, Howard had not failed to know on the social networks how much he was proud of the final result and how he was ready to defend, with a smile, the fruit of his work.

But in a tweet, he took the opportunity to slightly modify its position.

I’m proud of #SoloAStarWarsStory and the cast & crew worked hard to give fans a fun new addition. As a director I feel badly when people who I believe (& exit polls show) will very likely enjoy a movie… don’t see it on a big screen w/great sound. https://t.co/KADHwqU8so

“I’m proud of the Solo, the cast and crew have worked hard to offer the fans a new episode. As a director, I saw that evil people I think they would like a film (as evidenced by the polls after sessions)… only to discover not on the big screen with a good sound. “

What is interesting here, and testifies to the confidence of Ron Howard in Solo, it is that the artist does not feel bad about it because of the movie itself, but because it believes that the film will be discovered in poor conditions or too late.

Just as it implies, referring to polls expected to be satisfactory post-viewing, that his work will be rehabilitated. That is relatively bold in the light of the many reactions expressed, on the aggregators, opinion or social networks.
