Good, go, it’s been almost a year and a half that we talk regularly of the Last Jedi, we say that it’s going to go, that’s enough now, we will finally be able to move on. It would be much too easy.

IfEpisode IX is shooting for a few months and that a part of the community of fans is in the process of making offerings to that J. J. Abrams catches up with the shot after the Last of The Jedi of Rian Johnson and his Luke Skywalker-mode OSEF, it would be wrong to think that the previous movies we have all said, everything shown. No, there are still a few mysteries to discover.

The beginning of a great adventure or not…

As in The Awakening of the Force , for example. So that we think that we more or less know all about it, here’s a big folder, just fall. In effect, the forum, Reddit has managed to get their hands on a document exception representing a flashback unreleased film. If you remember well, when Rey hits the light saber of Luke, it is packed full of visions, including flashbacks of his duel with Darth Vader at the end of The Empire to counter-attack. If we never see Luke and Vader at the image, he ran a long-standing rumor that a young actor had been hired to play the Luke of the past.

A rumor fanciful in appearance, but which is completely unfounded because, actually it is the case. The photo in question thus represents the actor Robert Boulter during a camera test, habilllé in Luke Skywalker as at the end of the film, in the City of the Clouds. His presence had been teasée since 2014, but no document had been able to testify of the truthfulness of the information. Of course, it is not known if there would have been some digital touch-ups so that his face looks more like Mark Hamill or if the flashback was so stealth that it was not important.

Anyway, in the end, this is not in the film but it’s still a pleasure to have finally got their hands on it. We limit the impression of having accomplished something, that is to say…

Is that it ?
