Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom is on the screens for a little while and, as expected, he is doing well at the box office. But he still has two-three mysteries to reveal to us.
If everybody agrees to say that the staging of Juan Antonio Bayona’s the best part of Fallen Kingdom, it is not the same scenario, carried out by the director-writer-producer Colin Trevorrow, who is already preparing the implementation of the third episode. An evil plot carried on and which is on a metro ticket used, which is not really a novelty since it was already more or less the case in the previous game.
Justice Smith is Franklin Webb. Idealistic but a bit freaked out.
However, there is a mystery : the disappearance of a character between the Jurassic World and its sequel. In effect, the chief information officer Lowery Cruthers, bond geek of the film with his t-shirt Jurassic Park and its figurines of dinosaurs, did not reappear, replaced by another geek, very shy Franklin Webb.
An absence announced well in advance of the release of the film and that the director and the producer have today explained to the microphone of Empire :
Jake Johnson Lowery Cruthers, a little too cynical for the world of Fallen Kingdom
“There was a moment at the very beginning of the writing where Lowery was the character of Franklin. Because he could very well fulfill its mission. But he could not really bring the same state of mind. We liked the idea that Zia and Franklin were young idealists, activists who truly believed in the cause supported by Clear. So, it was not really possible to use Lowery, who is someone who is rather cynical.”
And it’s a pity because the character played by Jake Johnson was probably the most sympathetic in the first film, in any case, who could better identify themselves as a fan of the saga. But who knows, may be will he be back in the third installment ? In fact, it would be nice.
Go dude ! Come back in 3 !
