The Republic of Belarus and the European Union will create a working group to develop new joint projects. About this told European Commissioner for budget and human resources, günther Oettinger. His words are reports Reuters.
“Now we are thinking in order to formulate the priorities for the future development of relations, to develop a series of pragmatic, practice-oriented projects that will be mutually beneficial. First of all, it concerns the economic sphere”, — said Oettinger. The Commissioner is convinced that in recent years the relations between Belarus and the EU have made considerable progress, and dialogue between parties normalized. He is confident that in the continuation of this trend, interested as the European Union and Belarus.
The direction of future program implementation will determine the working group, which will include both European and Belarusian experts. Oettinger stressed that the budget of the program “Eastern partnership” was adopted for ten years, so the EU projects in Belarus will be long-lasting.
