Reportedly, the former Prime Minister Gruevski was convicted in may for irregularities in the purchase of the official car, an armored Mercedes S600. Even in 2015, the then opposition announced the interception of a telephone conversation Gruevski, regarding the purchase of the car.
For armored Mercedes S600 2012, the Macedonian government paid almost 650 thousand Euro. The new government of Macedonia decided in February 2018 to sell the car.
It is noted that Gruevski has been able to preserve the mandate of the MP, this means that he will be able to receive a parliamentary salary while serving the sentence.
