The shooting of the next Wes Anderson film, The French Dispatch, has just started in Angoulême, in France, we know a little bit more about the casting.

Wes Anderson we are accustomed to the greater of discretion when it comes to announce the castings and the synopsis of his films before the start of their production. For his 10th film, he is no exception to the rule. We learned in the columns of IndieWire that, contrary to the rumors spread during the summer of 2018, the film will not be a musical.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Wes Anderson has assembled a very good cast for The French Dispatch, who will again Tilda Swinton give a reply to Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Benicio Del Toro and Jeffrey Wright. If the first three are familiar with the productions of Anderson, who have all doubled character of The island with the dogs and played in at least one other of his films, the others are novices in the field.

The actor revealed by Call Me by Your Name, Timothée Chalamet will also be of the adventure. Rumors claim the presence of Natalie Portman, Lea Seydoux and Brad Pitt. However, their involvement in the movie from the director of The Family Tenenbaum is still a noise from hallway and has not been confirmed.

The film attarderait on three plots separate between Paris and America that eventually entwine. The French Dispatch would be a real ” love letter addressed to the journalists of the 20th century “, at least that is what was suggested by Wes Anderson at the microphone to IndieWire. Shot in Angoulême, the film will stage the outpost of an american newspaper based in Paris, after the Second world War.

The French Dispatch, in which the shooting started, is highly anticipated after the standing ovation The Grand Budapest Hotel, which received four academy awards (sets, costumes, make-up & hairstyles and music), and had a great success at the international box-office ($25 million budget and only 174 million received).

While waiting to regain the beautiful Tilda Swinton in a modern fairy tale that Wes Anderson has the secret, it is in this moment at the poster for Suspiria, a movie horror signed Luca Guadagnino.
