The Dutch authorities are in talks with more than 250 companies about doing business in the country in connection with the imminent withdrawal of great Britain from the European Union, reads the statement of the Agency for foreign investments of the Netherlands (NFIA), published on Saturday.
“NFIA is negotiating with more than 250 foreign companies that are considering establishing a business in the Netherlands because of Brexit”, – stated in the document posted on the website included in the structure of the Ministry of economy of the Netherlands Agency.
“In 2019, several companies, including Discovery and Bloomberg, have already announced their intention to invest in the Netherlands in connection with Brexit”, – the statement stresses.
The Agency noted that as a result of this trend the country will have nearly 10 thousand new jobs.
Recall that a British exit from the EU is scheduled for March 29, 2019.
