The Kremlin took the news about signing by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko law on the non-renewal of the term of validity of the Ukrainian-Russian Treaty on friendship and cooperation as “disrespectful”. About this in comments to the Russian media said President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov.

“One thing is clear — it is unlikely that this step can be regarded as a step in the interests of Ukrainians”, — said Peskov, cynically expressing his “regret” in connection with the adoption by Ukraine’s leadership “such a rash decision.”
