In Russia canceled the tender for the electrification of the railway part of the bridge Kerch. Relevant information appeared in a Single information system in the sphere of purchases of the Russian Federation, according to RBC.

Tender for electrification and AC of land transport crossing through the Kerch Strait — the village bagerovo (Crimea bridge and the approach to it) held by the Management office buildings of Federal bodies of Executive power in the field of transport (part of Russian Railways).

The winner of the tender was to develop documentation for construction and installation works. This was to be the first phase of the project electrification of the railway, which will pass through the bridge station Dzhankoi, with a branch in Kerch and Feodosia. The purchase price was 4.1 billion rubles, to Finance the work was planned from the Federal budget.

The tender was announced on September 28, readmission applications were opened on 19 November, but the next day it was canceled.

According to the Director of group corporate ratings ACRA Maxim Hudalova, the rejection of the electrification of the Crimean bridge will reduce the capacity of the railway transportation across the bridge.

“The locomotive speed and power almost twice loses locomotive”, — he said in comments to RBC.

We will remind, in November, the residents of annexed Peninsula complained of broken outdoor lighting in the Russian part of the bridge, and the Ministry of Ukraine on the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons released footage of space imagery, which recorded the displacement of the arches of the bridge Kerch.
