Today in new York city will begin public hearings about marijuana legalization

This week, residents of the Big Apple will Express their attitude to the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes.
Hearings throughout the state began in early September and will be completed by mid-October. Entrance to meetings is free, but pre-registration is encouraged. Several meetings in part of the state North of new York has already taken place.
To consider a proposal to legalize, regulate and tax cannabis Governor Andrew Cuomo and state lawmakers plan in 2019. Authorities claim that the public hearings will help them in the development of parts of the bill.
Here are the addresses where will pass hearings in new York this week (from 18.00 to 20.00):
Queens: Monday, September 24, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, 153-10 Jamaica Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11432, Main Auditorium;
Brooklyn: Tuesday, September 25, Long Island University Brooklyn Campus One University Plaza Brooklyn, NY 11201, Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts;
Staten island: Wednesday, September 26, College of Staten Island, 2800 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10314, Williamson Theatre.
