At the motor show in Chicago (USA) debuted the new sedan Volkswagen Jetta GLI, which received the engine of the “charged” version of the Golf GTI. This is stated in the official press release from the German automaker.
The car is equipped with two-liter gasoline turbo engine capacity of 231 horsepower, which is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Also for version of the Jetta GLI is available “robot” with two clutches.
Externally, the Jetta GLI sedan can be distinguished by a black grille with a bright thin band, badge with the name of the version, 18-inch aluminum wheel discs, and red calipers. In addition, the machine is equipped with an adaptive suspension and limited slip differential.
The salon version of the Jetta GLI is designed in dark colors. The sedan has a digital dashboard and steering wheel, front armrest, seats and floor mats with red stitching.
The American stamp dealers the car will appear in the spring of 2019. Detailed information about the new product, including prices and specifications will be announced closer to launch date.
